The Southernway federation is made up from 4 schools:

Tamerton Vale Primary School

 Southway Primary School

 Langley Junior School

Langley Infants School

 These 4 schools are no more and have been replaced by Beechwood Primary School and Oakwood Primary School.
 

Beechwood Primary School is to be a completely new school which will occupy the site of the old Southway Community College, but at present is using the old Southway Primary School. Oakwood Primary School is an amalgamation of Langley Infants and Langley Junior Schools totally remodelled existing buildings as well as new build.
 

Work on Oakwood has finished and the children are enjoying their new environment. Beechwood is not yet finished but is on schedule and should be ready at the end of May this year.
 

At present there are 2 head teachers Mrs. Andrea Norris and Mrs. Jackie Sparrow (acting head) working across the two schools with one federated governing body.
